I love our beautiful city with all its history, winding river, and the many different gems to explore!  To be included on the Downtown Event & Entertainment District is a great honor and responsibility. I want to make sure the voice of business, hospitality (hotels and restaurants) and festivals are represented and that what we build, considers all the special beauty of Saskatoon, and complements it. I have worked as a sales and marketing professional for over 30 years in the hotel and hospitality industry and am a strong advocate for the Voice of Business locally, provincially and nationally. I have served on the board for the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, Past Chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, and represented Saskatchewan on a national level sitting on the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Board. I know that to attract visitors, investors, and people to call this city their home, we need to have a lively and welcoming downtown with amenities such as an event centre, convention centre surrounded by hotels, restaurants, and retail. But most importantly, make sure that we create an exceptional space that serves as a gathering place for our entire community to enjoy.
