Geri Fernet, retired business owner of a downtown financial services business and current member of the Downtown Safety and Community Policing Committees, I have first hand experience of the downtown vibe after my husband and I made a choice to move from suburbia to the heart of Saskatoon – the downtown. For over 10 years we have watched the ebb and flow while observing possibilities and potential for a solid return of vibrancy to the downtown district. The residential voice is imperative to a vibrant downtown, not through one voice – but through many.  Working with the Advisory Group towards the possibility of a future event & entertainment district is exciting.
