Prairie Butterfly House

Welcome to the Prairie Butterfly House!

Open seasonally from June 1 to August 31, fully immerse yourself in nature with a visit to the Prairie Butterfly House. Home to a variety of species including swallowtails, morpho, owl and many more!

Butterflies fly freely around the space and will often land on plants and sometimes people. Don’t handle or remove butterflies from the exhibit area.

Look for feeding stations and puddling areas, these are great spots for you to get a closer view of the butterflies.

Please remain on the pathway and help us maintain a space spare for our butterflies by not touching the plans or picking the flowers.

Visit the emerging areas to watch new butterflies break out of their pupa cases.

For the safety of our butterflies, food and drinks are not permitted in the Prairie Butterfly House.
