Charlie Clark, Mayor of Saskatoon

I am passionate about Saskatoon and believe our history of innovation, problem-solving, and collaboration will position us as a leading city across Canada. The Downtown District is an exciting project that we want to get right, for the Downtown, for the City, Province and for future generations from all walks of life. I believe that partnerships among groups with different perspectives can offer the best solutions to the challenges. The Advisory group, made up of representatives from across our city, will be key for helping us ensure that the Downtown Event & Entertainment District truly becomes a gathering place where everyone belongs and is inspired. 

Previous to serving as Mayor, I was the Ward 6 City Councillor, representing the Downtown for ten years. Before elected life, I worked in the areas of mediation and community economic development. I have bachelor degrees in conflict resolution and education as well as a masters degree in environmental studies.
