I am thrilled to be able to contribute to the Downtown Event & Entertainment District as it has transformative potential for our city’s downtown. The project aligns three of my greatest passions: family/community, sports, and urban renewal. I’m excited to bring the perspective of a family man who values the connections and collective community experiences that this project can provide. The Event and Entertainment District will create so many recreation and cultural opportunities for Saskatoonians  to enjoy. I’m dedicated to help the city realize the catalytic potential for this project to revitalize parts of our downtown to make it an exciting, active and welcoming space for all citizens. Having worked for 15 years with communities and First Nations across the prairies, I know firsthand the importance of public gathering and recreation space in contributing to the culture and sense of place. I have a passion for improving the urban environment and my interests are in urban renewal, sustainability as well as community advocacy. I believe that architecture has the power to improve the quality of life of residents.
