Councillor: Senos Timon

Senos Timon is a steadfast community builder and advocate for social equity with the honour of serving as the City Councillor for Ward 2 since the November 13th, 2024 election.
For over two decades, Senos has championed inclusivity, meaningful engagement, and social justice, helping to shape Saskatoon into a city where every voice matters. Since emigrating from South Sudan in 2000, Senos has made Meadowgreen his home alongside his wife, Betty, and three adult children. As the founder and Executive Director of The People Bridge Advocacy, Senos works to empower marginalized groups, foster cross-cultural understanding, and address systemic barriers within Saskatoon.
Senos' past work includes establishing the leaders-to-leaders roundtable, serving on several boards and committees in areas such as the arts, health, education, and community development. Senos holds a Master's Certificate in Social Economy, Co-operatives, and the Nonprofit Sector from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina, in collaboration with the University of Saskatchewan. He has been recognized with the City of Saskatoon's Living in Harmony Award and the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
