Ken Cheveldayoff, Member Legislative Assembly - Saskatoon Silver Springs
Ken has spent the last 18 years serving the people of Saskatchewan. He is a veteran of the Saskatchewan Party.
First elected in 2003, Ken served in Opposition for four years. When the Saskatchewan Party formed government in 1997 under Premier Brad Wall, Ken had the privilege of serving the province as a Cabinet Minister in various portfolios including: Crown Corporations, Economy, Environment, Water Security Agency, First Nations and Metis Relations, Parks, Culture and Sport and in the Scott Moe Government as Minister of Central Services.
One of Ken’s proudest achievements has been serving as the Chair of the Build Committee overseeing the funding, design, and construction of Mosaic Stadium in Regina.
As a strong advocate for public infrastructure such as the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, Ken believes the Downtown Event & Entertainment District will enhance the quality of life for people in our city and province and will serve as a catalyst for future growth of our city. This proposed development will be a significant part of our provinces Growth Plan
Ken’s visionary perspective has earned him opportunities to work on projects such as this and his goal is dedicate his abundance of energy, time, and personal knowledge to helping make this project a reality.
