Rekindle a sense of childhood wonder with a trip to the Saskatoon Zoo. Meet an impossibly cute mob of meerkats, the cheeky Goeldi's monkeys, majestic grizzly bears and many other species at Saskatchewan’s only CAZA accredited zoo.
Zoo Hours of Operation
The Saskatoon Zoo operates 364 days a year, only closing on December 25 each year. Hours vary by season. Last admission 30 minutes before closing.

Sensory Inclusive Facility Certification
As part of our commitment to inclusion and accessibility, the Saskatoon Zoo is a certified Sensory Inclusive facility and now offers complimentary Sensory Bags to help guests with sensory processing needs enjoy a more comfortable and rewarding visit.
These bags are available free of charge at the Zoo Admission gate. Guests can check one out by leaving a valid ID, and all items are thoroughly cleaned between uses.
Each Sensory Bag includes:
- A KCVIP badge to help staff identify and support guests with sensory needs
- Fidget tools to help with focus and self-regulation
- Noise-canceling headphones to reduce overwhelming sounds
- Visual cue cards and other helpful resources
Whether you're visiting with a child on the autism spectrum, someone with sensory sensitivities or just looking for a quieter experience, these tools are here to support your visit.
This initiative is part of our Sensory Inclusive Certification through KultureCity, a leader in sensory accessibility. Our staff has received specialized training to better assist guests with sensory needs and ensure a welcoming experience for all.

Parking Fees (May to September)
Daily and seasonal parking permits are available at the Forestry Farm Park entrance. Show your valid Zoo Season Pass to receive free parking.

Know Before You Go
- View our digital Zoo Map.
- Respect our animal’s diets by not feeding them.
- Remain behind safety barriers.
- Washrooms are available in the Affinity Learning Centre and Café.
- The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo is a pet-free park.
- Balloons are not permitted in the park or zoo.
- Parking fees are in effect May 1 to Labour Day (FREE with your Zoo Season Pass).
- Bike racks are available at the Zoo entrance.
- Bikes, scooters and roller blades are not permitted inside the Zoo.
Wagons, Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooter
- Available April 1 through October 31
- Complimentary wheelchair rentals are available on a first come, first served basis.
- Wagon rentals are available on first come, first served basis. $5 rental fee.
- Mobility scooter available on first come, first served basis. There is no cost to use the scooter - a driver’s license or credit card will be held while using the scooter at the Zoo.
CAZA Accreditation
The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo has successfully achieved Canada's Accredited Zoos and Aquariums (CAZA) accreditation. CAZA accreditation is valid for five years.
Founded in 1975, Canada’s Accredited Zoos and Aquariums (CAZA) is the national organization responsible for accrediting and inspecting zoological facilities across Canada.

The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo joined the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) in March 2025, underscoring its unwavering dedication to the care and conservation of animals and their habitats worldwide.
Since its inception in 1935, WAZA has been committed to guiding, encouraging and supporting zoos, aquariums and like-minded organizations globally in animal care and welfare, environmental education and global conservation.
