Loading Zones for Business
Welcome to Loading Zones for businesses.
A Loading Zone is a designated area on a street for a short time period where loading and unloading of passengers or goods is permitted.
Loading Zones within the City of Saskatoon are reviewed based on guidance provided by Council Policy C07-025. This policy details the definitions used, who can apply for a zone, the situations which warrant an installation, details zone sizes and quantity, the types of loading zones available, costs and the responsibilities of the City of Saskatoon.
Please email all inquiries to Transportation & Construction Customer Service at Loadingzones@saskatoon.ca

Accessible Parking Permit and Business Loading Zones
On January 31, 2024, Council approved the recommended changes to the Accessible Parking Permit Program. These changes took effect on October 1, 2024. Please visit the Accessible Parking Permit webpage for more information.
The Accessible Parking Permit Program is an optional program allowing users with a valid SaskAbilities placard to park for free in paid parking areas. The program also allows users to park in paid parking zones, loading zones, and on-street accessible parking zones for longer than the posted time limits.
Questions or comments on these recent changes can be emailed to parking.permits@saskatoon.ca
Report Abuse
Remember that not every disability is visible or obvious. If you suspect someone is parked in a disabled area without need, please be respectful. Report the vehicle license plate number and location to Parking Enforcement at 306-975-8344 for them to investigate.
