Annual Civic Pancake Breakfast
Thank you, Saskatoon! Our 49th Annual Civic Pancake Breakfast raised over $10k for United Way Saskatoon & Area!

Although the day began with a drizzle, the sun eventually broke through, and we had an amazing time on Thursday, June 19, at our 49th Annual Civic Pancake Breakfast.
Thank you, thank you for attending Saskatoon! You you helped make our 49th fundraising breakfast a success!
We served up delicious pancakes and enjoyed connecting with the community who came out to support United Way Saskatoon & Area. We’re proud to announce that this year’s Civic Pancake Breakfast has resulted in a final donation of $10,594.18 (after expenses).

Paying it forward with kindness
And, thank you for your extra generosity, Saskatoon, you paid it forward and purchased 115 Act of Kindness tickets! Saskatoon City Employees Credit Union and the City brought back the Act of Kindness Ticket board, allowing attendees and non-attendees to purchase extra breakfast tickets that allowed more people in our community to enjoy a warm breakfast and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether used or unused, every dollar from these tickets goes directly to United Way Saskatoon & Area.
We are confident our community momentum for the Act of Kindness Board will continue. The Act of Kindness Board is sponsored by Saskatoon City Employees Credit Union.
Excitement continued on our community entertainment stage!
The entertainment stage kept things exciting all morning - a special shout out to City employees Audrey Armstrong and Dorthea Swiftwolfe for accompanying singer Teedly Linklater to start things off in a good way and Jonathan Moore-Wright who played bass with his band Patti and the Stack! Vehicle displays from City of Saskatoon, Saskatoon Police Service and Saskatoon Fire proved popular as well as our beloved furry friends Sarge (Saskatoon Police Service) and our very own Waste Wizard (Sustainability) who filled our morning with loads of fun.
The Annual Relay Race went off without a hitch! Nine enthusiastic teams competed in a spirited and friendly relay race. Who knew the Zipper Merge would be so hard to hit! Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on the exciting races! We look forward to seeing you next year for even more exciting challenges.
Last year, the City’s 48th Annual Civic Pancake Breakfast tally ended with a record-breaking final donation (revenue less expenses) to the United Way Saskatoon & Area of $13,471.50.
