Circle Drive turning lanes closed at Airport Drive on Sunday
September 27, 2024 - 7:30am
The Circle Drive northbound left turning lane to Airport Drive and the Airport Drive left turning lane to Circle Drive northbound will be closed on Sunday, September 29, starting at 7:00 a.m. for traffic signal work. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take one day to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.

Downtown road closures for Nuit Blanche starting Saturday

- 3rd Avenue between 21st and 19th streets
- Spadina Crescent between 2nd Avenue and 20th Street
- Broadway Avenue between 12th and Main streets
- 12th Street between Eastlake and Broadway avenues
The Traffic Bridge/Victoria Avenue will be closed between 11th and 19th streets starting Saturday, September 28, at 3:00 p.m. for Nuit Blanche.
Additional event road restrictions include:
Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the event zone. The roadways will reopen after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 29 barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants. The City thanks everyone for their patience.

Ruth Street will be closed between Irvine and Blain avenues on Saturday, September 28, starting at 9:00 a.m. for connection replacements. Post-event drop-off is at the downtown terminal and regular fares apply ($3.00 per trip). Fare can be purchased on your mobile phone using either the TGo or transit app, transfers and passes are also accepted. Typically, buses arrive onsite 30 minutes prior to the end of the event.

Next phase of College Drive project starts Monday

- Zipper merging will be required due to lane closures. Drivers are reminded to use all available lanes and take turns at the end. This will help everyone get through the work zone faster.

The next phase of the College Drive Water Main Maintenance Project starts on Monday, September 30. The eastbound and westbound median lanes on College Drive will close between Hospital Drive and Cumberland Avenue. In addition, the right turn lane from College Drive westbound to Hospital Drive will be closed. This phase is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
