Ruth Street closed between Louise Avenue and Jarvis Drive today

Ruth Street will be closed between Louise Avenue and Jarvis Drive starting this morning for unplanned manhole and catch basin repairs. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take one day to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.

Cumberland Avenue closed between Bute and Cascade streets on Monday

Cumberland Avenue will be closed between Bute and Cascade streets on Monday, November 18, starting at 8:00 a.m. for a connection replacement. Downtown road closures for Santa Claus Parade on Sunday

- 19th Street between Avenue A and 3rd Avenue
- 3rd Avenue between 19th and 22nd streets
- 20th Street between Idylwyld Drive and 4th Avenue
- 4th Avenue between 20th and 22nd streets
- 22nd Street between Pacific and 4th avenues
- 1st Avenue between the Idylwyld ramp and 22nd Street
Spadina Crescent will be closed between Avenues A and G on Sunday, November 17, starting at 8:00 a.m. for the Santa Claus Parade.
Additional event road restrictions include:
Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the event zone. Closures will be lifted as the parade clears each roadway. The roadways will all be open after 3:00 p.m. barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants. The City thanks everyone for their patience.

Direct service from the Special Events Stop (23rd Street and 2nd Avenue) to see the Saskatoon Blades take on the Edmonton Oil Kings at SaskTel Centre on Friday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m., is available at the following times:

Post-event drop-off is at the downtown terminal and regular fares apply ($3.00 per trip). Fare can be purchased on your mobile phone using either the TGo or transit app, transfers and passes are also accepted. Typically, buses arrive onsite 30 minutes prior to the end of the event.
