1st Avenue closed between 24th and 25th streets starting Monday

1st Avenue will be closed between 24th and 25th streets starting Monday, October 3, at 9:00 a.m. for roadway paving work. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take two days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

33rd Street intersection closed at Warman Road starting Saturday

The intersection at 33rd Street and Warman Road will be closed starting Saturday, October 1, at 7:00 a.m. for roadway resurfacing work. Circle Drive northbound exit ramp to Attridge Drive closed on Sunday

The Circle Drive northbound exit ramp to Attridge Drive will be closed on Sunday, October 2, at 7:00 a.m. for streetlight pole replacement work. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around this detour. This project is expected to take seven hours to complete, barring unforeseen circumstances or weather delays.

Adjusted holiday hours & civic services for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Friday, September 30

- Garbage (Black Cart) – Collections as scheduled (No impact on long weekend holiday)
- Recycling (Blue Cart) – Collections as scheduled (No impact on long weekend holiday)
- Organics (Subscription Green Cart) – Collections as scheduled (No impact on long weekend holiday)

- The Landfill is open over the long weekend from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Cash transactions are accepted, although Credit and Debit are recommended.

- The compost depots are open for the season and over the long weekend from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.(West Depot) and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.(East Depot)
