4th Avenue will be closed between 25th and 26th streets on Saturday, October 14, starting at 9:00 a.m. for construction. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take one day to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Call for Artists: Bunkhouse Studios - January 2024 Residency at Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo

- to inspire artists through the nature, animals, and people at the SFFP&Z and connect the SFFP&Z to a larger community
The City of Saskatoon invites emerging and established artists in all disciplines including literary, visual, music, theatre, video, multi-disciplinary, design, social practice, and performance to apply for a residency in the historic Bunkhouse at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo (SFFP&Z).
The Bunkhouse Studios is a residency program to revitalize the historic Bunkhouse at the SFFP&Z through the development and implementation of an artist studio program. The program was established in 2019 when several local artists were selected to set up studios in the Bunkhouse for an initial residency.
Program goals include:
The residency will begin January 15, 2024, until March 28, 2025. The Bunkhouse will be available from 9 am to 4 pm each day with extended hours in the summer months.
The deadline for applications is 4:30 p.m. on November 15, 2023.
