Rainfall delays start of residential street sweeping
May 6, 2024 - 3:15pm
Due to the rainy and wet weather, the scheduled residential spring street sweeping for today, Monday May 6, 2024, has been postponed. With more rain forecast tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7, it is also likely the sweep will be delayed until Wednesday May 8.
Street sweeping in the rain presents challenges: it turns dust and debris into mud, making it much harder for our street sweepers to do the best job cleaning the roads.
Street sweeping missed during rainfall will be rescheduled for a later date. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to ensure the cleanliness and safety of City streets.
For more information and to find your sweep date, visit saskatoon.ca/sweep.
