Rescheduled: 51st Street westbound exit ramp to Idylwyld Drive northbound closed on Monday evening

The 51st Street westbound exit ramp to Idylwyld Drive northbound will be closed on Monday, July 25, at 8:00 p.m. for durable pavement marking installation work. There will be various Idylwyld Drive northbound curb lane closures between 51st Street and Marquis Drive during this project. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around this work. This project is expected to take 10 hours to complete, barring unforeseen circumstances or weather delays.

City awarded $25,000 grant to plant trees in Parc Canada

The City is pleased to have been selected as one of the recipients of the CN EcoConnexions – From the Ground Up program grant. Sponsored by CN in partnership with Tree Canada, the program invests more than a half a million dollars in community greening projects across Canada.
With the $25,000 CN EcoConnexions – From the Ground Up grant, the City planted 44 new trees in Parc Canada, a 16 Hectare (40 Acre) green space located in the Confederation Park neighbourhood which has added to an overall improvement of the much-used area.
