Westbound driving lanes remain closed while College Drive pedestrian walkway is repaired
Repairs to the College Drive pedestrian walkway are now underway. The overpass was hit by a truck with a crane the morning of Tuesday, December 7, which created damage and knocked it out of alignment. Temporary support towers have been installed.
Until the walkway repairs are complete, westbound traffic between Campus Drive and Cumberland Avenue will continue to be rerouted into the eastbound lanes. This project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Once complete, the walkway and westbound lanes will fully reopen.
