Ruth Street closed between Lorne and Melrose avenues starting Wednesday

Ruth Street will be closed between Lorne and Melrose avenues starting Wednesday, July 20, at 7:00 a.m. for roadway work. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take two days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.     

Additional project restrictions:  

• Idylwyld Drive off-ramp to Ruth Street will be closed 
• Intersection at Ruth Street and Vernon Avenue will be closed   
• Intersection at Ruth Street and McPherson Avenue will be closed   
• Intersection at Ruth Street and Kelvin Avenue will be closed           

Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
