Downtown road closures for Nutrien Fireworks Festival starting Thursday evening

Spadina Crescent will be closed between 3rd Avenue and 20th Street starting on Thursday, August 29 starting at 5:00 p.m. for the Nutrien Fireworks Festival.

Additional road closures starting at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30:

  • Spadina Crescent between 2nd and 3rd avenues
  • 3rd Avenue from 19th to 11th streets (including Traffic Bridge)

Additional road closures starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31:

  • 4th Avenue between 20th and 12th streets (including Broadway Bridge)

Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the event zone. The roadways are expected to reopen by 1:00 a.m. each night.

Saskatoon Transit will be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
