The City of Saskatoon would like residents to know that at City Hall “it’s business as usual” in light of today’s November 15 announcement of the Canada Post strike and the disruption in mail service delivery.
To ensure that your payments are made on time over the mail service disruption period:
The City strongly encourages residents to adopt these alternative payment options with respect to their utilities, property tax notices, parking tickets, invoices and pet licensing renewals.
- At your banking/financial institution
- Through online banking
- In-person at City Hall (main floor), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Drop off your cheque in the secure night deposit outside the front of City Hall
Your Parking Ticket Payment Options:
- Pay your ticket online at saskatoon.ca/parkingticket
- In-person at City Hall (main floor), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Drop off your cheque in the secure night deposit outside the front doors of City Hall
Your Utility Billing Statement: It’s a great time to switch to convenient eBill!

Your Pet License Purchase & Renewal Payment Options:
- Purchase or renew your Pet License online
- In-person at City Hall (main floor), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Saskatoon Animal Control Agency (1925 Avenue B North), Animal Pound (5028 Clarence Avenue South) or any participating pet license vendors; the list of vendors is located online
- Drop off your cheque in the secure night deposit outside the front doors of City Hall
Your Property Tax Payment Options:
- Financial Institutions – your property tax payment can be paid while doing regular business at most financial institutions and banks
- Internet Banking Options – your property tax can be paid online using internet banking options
- In-person at City Hall (main floor), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reminder if paying by debit, customers should be checking their daily limit withdrawal with their financial institution prior to arriving
- Drop off your cheque in the secure night deposit outside the front doors of City Hall

To find out your balance owing for your utilities or property tax, call the City’s automated Interactive Voice Response at 306-975-2400 or call Toll-Free 1-800-667-9944. Please have your utility billing account # or property tax roll # ready.
