City Boards & Committees: application deadline extended to November 15 - join us!
It's an exciting time and we still have open positions where you can serve your city and directly influence decisions in your community. Would you like to be involved with Saskatoon’s newly elected local leadership in 2025?
Apply to join a City of Saskatoon board, committee or commission and help shape programs and services that matter to you. The application deadline to take an active role has been extended to November 15, 2024.
Volunteering on a board, committee or commission is a great opportunity to share your experience and skills and expand your resume and network of contacts.
Review our open positions and term lengths here. Apply online with your resume and two letters of reference at saskatoon.ca/boards before 5 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2024.
To be eligible for public appointment, you must reside within the boundaries of Saskatoon, except for applicants to the City’s Controlled Corporations, which allow for up to two non-resident members.
This year’s newly elected City Council will consider all public appointments at its December 18, 2024, Regular Business Meeting, and all applicants will be notified of the status of their application following that meeting.
City Council relies on volunteer members of the public to bring their diverse backgrounds and expertise to our open positions. Council welcomes, supports, values, and encourages Indigenous, Black, people of colour, members of the 2SLGBTQ community, people living with disabilities, and other underrepresented groups to apply. We are stronger through diverse membership, and in working together we continue to make Saskatoon a better city.
