Application for the Spring Seasonal Commercial Enterprise in Parks Program is now open

The City is now accepting applications for the Spring 2025 Seasonal Commercial Enterprise in Parks Program. This initiative supports sport, recreation and cultural business opportunities in Downtown parks. 

A Seasonal Commercial Enterprise refers to any organization engaged in the sale of goods or services to consumers for a defined period of time. Applicants must support sport, recreation and/or cultural activities to be eligible for the program. The deadline for Spring applications, which runs from May 1 to October 31, is February 15, 2025. Application packages are available at saskatoon.ca/sce or email sce@saskatoon.ca. 

Applications are evaluated based on criteria outlined in the Seasonal Commercial Enterprise in Parks Policy No. C10-026. Once an application has been approved and all required documentation received by the City, a permit and business license will be issued by the City’s Planning & Development Department.
