Adjusted Hours of Operation at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo
This summer has been a memorable one at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo, from celebrating a big 50-year milestone, to new exhibits and the return of guided train tours, visitors have been able to experience all kinds of new adventures so far this year. As we approach the fall season, the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo has adjusted its hours of operation. The Forestry Farm Park gates will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the Zoo will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Parking is now free until May 1, 2023.
The Prairie Butterfly House and Kinsmen Express II Train are also closed for the season. We look forward to bringing these exciting attractions back for their first full season next year.
The Zoo is also preparing to start an extensive renovation project at the Children’s Zoo and Buckeye Café this fall. Zoogoers will have their last opportunity to see the Goeldi’s Monkeys on Sunday, September 18 and the Buckeye Café will be closing for the season on Sunday, September 30. Once renovations are complete, the Children’s Zoo will reopen as the Small Mammal House and will be home to some new animals joining the Zoo family in 2023.
A reminder to purchase 2023 Zoo Season Passes before October 1 to save the PST and receive 2022 rates. Zoo Season Passes are available for purchase at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo or any Leisure Centre.
