2nd Avenue closed between 20th and 23rd streets starting Thursday

2nd Avenue will be closed between 20th and 23rd streets starting Thursday, July 7, at 5:30 a.m. for the Downtown Sidewalk Sale. 21st Street will be closed between 1st and 2nd avenues during this event. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the event site. This event will be in place for three days, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.  

Closures will be set in place daily:  

• Thursday, July 7 – 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.  
• Friday, July 8 – 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  
• Saturday, July 9 – 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.   

Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
