At approximately 2:23 a.m. Sept. 28, 2019 The Saskatoon Fire Department received multiple 911 calls reporting a fire in a apartment on the 500 block of Ave X. S. Three engines, one ladder company, one rescue and one battalion chief were dispatched to the call. On route fire crews were able to see heavy smoke in the area.
