Proposal
The Planning and Development Department has received an application from Victory Majors (the applicant) proposing to rezone a parcel of land adjacent to Feheregyhazi Boulevard and Henry Dayday Road, within the Aspen Ridge Neighbourhood to accommodate residential development.
The site is currently undeveloped and zoned FUD – Future Urban Development District. The applicant is proposing to rezone the site to RMTN1 – Medium Density Townhouse Residential District 1, as shown on the map below. The proposed rezoning to RMTN1 would facilitate comprehensively planned medium density multiple-unit dwellings in the form of townhouses, dwelling groups, and other building forms, as well as related community uses. The proposed rezoning is in alignment with the approved Aspen Ridge Neighbourhood Concept Plan land use map, which designates this area for low to medium density multi-unit dwellings.
