Policy C09-002 - Innovative Housing Incentives

This policy is meant to address the significant impact the quality, affordability and availability of housing has on the quality of life in Saskatoon. The policy includes definitions of housing program, low-income household, moderate-income household, affordable housing, residential portion, secondary suite, purpose-built rental housing, garden suite, garage suite, mortgage flexibilities. It includes eligibility criteria for affordable housing, outlines financial incentives, outlines tax abatements as well as the reasons for the creation of the policy.
