Leisureland mobile home fire
The Saskatoon Fire Department received a 911 call at 10:20 a.m. reporting a mobile home fire at Leisureland trailer park. Dispatched to the scene were five fire apparatus, including a water tanker. The first arriving officer observed heavy smoke and considerable amount of flame from within the home. Once assured there were no occupants, fire crews committed to protecting neighbouring buildings and delivering water into the home.
An additional water tanker was dispatched to assist with water delivery to the scene. Incident command also requested a backhoe to assist with pulling apart the mobile home to gain access to hidden and inaccessible parts of the structure.
Fire crews remain on scene and continue to extinguish hot spots.
There is no damage estimate or fire cause at this time.
