Site Grading Inspections
Site grading inspections are required upon completion of final site grading for infill, commercial and multi-family properties. An inspection can also be requested at the rough grading stage, if desired.
Upon requesting a site grading inspection, a representative from our office will contact you within two business days to schedule an inspection for your new infill, commercial, or multi-family property.
During the site grading inspection, a drainage inspector will ensure the site grading is completed in compliance with the infill site grading plan or commercial as-built drawing and The Drainage Bylaw, 2021.
Upon completion of the final site grading inspection, a drainage inspector will provide you with a copy of the site grading inspection report via email.
Refer to the Guide to Infill Site Grading or Guide to Commercial Site Grading for more information on the site grading approval procedures.
Important: Site Grading Inspections
Site grading inspections may only be requested online for NEW infill, commercial or multi-family developments as part of the site grading approval procedure.
If you have a drainage complaint regarding an existing property, please contact Bylaw Compliance at 306-657-8766 or submit your complaint online.
