The final phase of the College Drive Water Main Maintenance Project starts on Sunday, September 15 at 7:00 a.m. The westbound lanes between Hospital Drive and Bottomley Avenue will fully close with two-way traffic maintained in the eastbound lanes. This phase is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

• Zipper merging will be required due to lane closures. Drivers are reminded to use all available lanes and take turns at the end. This will help everyone get through the work zone faster.

Over 3,500 more residents will be welcoming a new smaller black cart to their household this fall. If you requested a smaller black cart before September 9, your new cart will be delivered between September 16 and October 11.

Cart swaps will correspond with your regularly scheduled garbage collection day. Make sure to roll out your existing cart on each garbage collection day and leave it out for 48 hours during the cart swap window. Existing carts must be left at their collection location (front street or back lane, depending on your address) to be emptied and retrieved. The smaller cart will not be delivered unless your existing cart is retrieved.

If your cart isn’t swapped on your collection date, don’t worry! We’ll be back at your next collection date to attempt the swap.

If you missed out on the city-wide cart swaps, you can still request a smaller cart size after October 31, 2024 by submitting a new request through My Utility Account or calling a Corporate Revenue Customer Service Representative at 306-975-2400.
