Weekend road restrictions for Pride Festival and Parade

To accommodate the Pride Festival and Parade this weekend, detours, lane restrictions and “no parking” signs will be in place guiding motorists around the downtown event areas.  

Weekend road closures will include:

• Spadina Crescent from 2nd Avenue to just south of 20th Street
• Traffic Bridge
• 3rd Avenue from 19th Street to the Traffic Bridge 
• Victoria Avenue from the Traffic Bridge to 11th Street 

The Pride Parade route will move from 24th Street and Spadina Crescent, with closures in place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22. Closures include:

• Spadina Crescent loop under University Bridge
• Spadina Crescent from 23rd to 24th streets
• 4th Avenue from 24th to 22nd streets
• 22nd Street from 4th to 1st avenues
• 1st Avenue from Idylwyld Drive to 22nd Street
• 20th Street from 1st to 4th avenues
• 3rd Avenue from 21st to 19th streets

Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants. The City thanks everyone for their patience.  

Saskatoon Transit will be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
