Application for the Winter Seasonal Commercial Enterprise in Parks Program is now open
The City is now accepting applications for the Winter 2024-25 Seasonal Commercial Enterprise in Parks Program that supports sport, recreation and/or cultural business opportunities in Downtown parks.
A Seasonal Commercial Enterprise refers to any organization engaged in the sale of goods or services to consumers for a defined period of time. Applicants must support sport, recreation and/or cultural events or opportunities to be eligible for the program. The deadline for Winter applications is August 15, 2024. Application packages are available at saskatoon.ca/sce or email sce@saskatoon.ca.
Applications are evaluated based on criteria outlined in the Seasonal Commercial Enterprise in Parks Policy No. C10-026. Once an application has been approved and all required documentation received by the City, a permit and business license will be issued by the City’s Planning and Development Division. Permit costs range from $600 (not-for-profit) to $1,800 (for profit) annually; the fee for a new business license is $135. For more information, visit saskatoon.ca/sce.
