What We Asked
The City of Saskatoon (City) is developing a long-term, city-wide Zero-emission Vehicle Roadmap (Roadmap) that will recommend paths forward for both the City and the community to adopt zero-emission vehicles in Saskatoon. Zero-emission vehicles use electricity or hydrogen, instead of gasoline or diesel, to reduce or eliminate carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and air pollution.
In the development of the Roadmap we are looking for your feedback on:
- How can the City support zero-emission vehicle adoption in Saskatoon?
- What should we consider when developing the Roadmap?
- What should we prioritize so we can make the biggest difference?
- Are there organizations we can partner with to support the Roadmap?
How You Can Get Involved
From June to November 2023, we engaged the community in the development of the Roadmap through a community survey and stakeholder meetings. Your feedback, along with best practice research and internal considerations, will be provided to City Council in 2024.
