Policy C03-039 - Leasing and Licensing City-Owned Buildings to Outside Organizations

This Policy provides direction for the leasing and licensing of City of Saskatoon (City) owned buildings to outside organizations when the building or portion thereof is not required for civic occupancy and/or when third-party management of the building and associated grounds is beneficial. The policy includes definitions of market rent, occupancy costs, public offering, and surplus buildings. The policy outlines market rent and management of surplus buildings as well as lessee or licensee procurement. The policy outlines responsibility of all parties.
