Early morning Garage fire
At 5:48 am this morning, the Saskatoon fire department received multiple 911 calls reporting a garage on fire behind 1713 ave G north. Three engine companies, one ladder truck, a heavy rescue truck and battalion chef were dispatched to the scene.
Enroute crews reported seeing flames and smoke coming from the area.
On arrival a garage was found to be fully involved along with a large spruce tree and multiple other trees in the back yard. Fire crews preformed a quick attack with multiple lines prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures. The fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes.
City electrical was called to deal with down power lines. Two neighboring garages received damage as a result of the fire.
A fire investigator was called to the scene, the fire is currently under investigation.
There is no damage estimates and no injuries occurred as a result of this fire.
