We are currently looking for two candidates to participate on the Link (bus rapid transit) Nutana Stakeholder Committee (NSC).  

The NSC fosters connections between the community and the project team and supports the successful implementation of the Link system in Saskatoon, specifically along the Broadway section of the route. 

Current Opportunities: 

1 resident representative from the Nutana business community 
1 resident representative who works in Nutana

The Nutana Stakeholder Committee was established early 2020 and has met both in person and virtually since.

Mandate/Responsibilities 

The mandate of the Bus Rapid Transit (now Link) Stakeholder Committee is:  

1. To facilitate a successful implementation of Bus Rapid Transit in Saskatoon.  

2. To be a point of communication to the community that they represent from the BRT project team. 

3. To provide advice, input and recommendations to the BRT project team on:  

• construction staging/phasing in their relevant geographic location;  

• timing of changes to transit service in advance of the BRT;  

• marketing and communication to the community that they represent;  

• approaches and opportunities for engagement with the community; and  

• other issues identified by the BRT project team.
