Mike San Miguel is a dedicated community leader and long-time resident of Ward 3. Having lived in the ward for over 35 yrs, Mike has deep roots in Saskatoon's West side, calls Parkridge home and works in Fairhaven.
With over 20 yrs of experience at SGI, Mike currently serves as an Industry Partnership Rep and brings a wealth of professional experience.
His priorities are, public safety, addressing homelessness, affordable housing, sustainable growth, community engagement, and improving of our transit system.
Mike’s leadership experience is vast and is a two-time recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Medal, recognizing his continuous dedication to community service.
Mike served as Saskatchewan Human Rights Commissioner for 7 years where he actively worked to support fairness and equality for all residents.
Mike is ready to bring a strong voice to City Council & he looks forward to making a positive difference in the lives of Ward 3 residents.
