Kathie Pruden Nansel is a Proud Metis woman raised in small town Sask. Her family names are Pruden, Boucher, Gagnon and Lesperance to name a few. Kathie’s background is Social Work and she has decades of experience working the frontline with various grassroots Non Profits and Indigenous Organizations. Kathie worked for many years in the NWT Territories as a Social Worker and Victims Services Coordinator and in 2004 returned to Saskatchewan to continue her dedication and advocacy work here in Saskatoon. Kathie is married and has a blended family of 3 son’s and 1 daughter, as well as 2 granddaughters. Kathie enjoys music, engaging in Metis cultural activities and events. In 2021 Kathie was Elected as the MN-S WR2A Regional Representative and is also the MN-S Minister of Child and Family.
