Lorne Avenue closed between Adelaide and Taylor streets on Monday
September 9, 2022 - 9:00am
- The intersection at Lorne Avenue and Elm Street will be closed
- The intersection at Lorne Avenue and Hilliard Street will be closed
- The intersection at Lorne Avenue and Willow Street will be closed
- The intersection at Lorne Avenue and Isabella Street will be closed
- The intersection at Lorne Avenue and Maple Street will be closed
Lorne Avenue will be closed between Adelaide and Taylor streets on Monday, September 12, at 9:00 a.m. for roadway crack sealing work. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take six hours to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Broadway Avenue closed between 8th and 12th streets on Saturday

- 9th Street will be closed between Dufferin and Eastlake avenues
- Main Street will be closed between Dufferin and Eastlake avenues
- 10th Street will be closed between Dufferin and Eastlake avenues
- 11th Street will be closed between Dufferin and Eastlake avenues
Broadway Avenue will be closed between 8th and 12th streets on Saturday, September 10, at 7:00 a.m. for the Broadway Street Fair. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the special event site. This event is expected to take one day to complete, barring any unforeseen circumstances or weather delays.

There’s a seat at the table for you this fall!
We’re recruiting citizen volunteers for several vacant positions on our Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs). Make a difference in your community and help shape programs and services that matter to you.
The City’s BCCs strengthen our community and are stronger through diverse membership. Working together, we make Saskatoon a better city. We rely on citizen volunteers to bring their diverse backgrounds and expertise and welcome, support and value individuals for their unique perspectives.
As a commitment to our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Action Plan, the City supports diverse membership on the various boards, committees and commissions as they should reflect the community we serve.
There are a wide variety of open positions. Are you, or do you know of someone who is passionate about or has expertise in one of these areas?
As a BCCs member you’ll provide advice, guidance and recommendations to City Council or you could hear and make decisions on appeals pertaining to City matters. Join us to contribute, gain valuable experience and expand your network of contacts!
