Adjusted civic services & hours of operation on Remembrance Day, November 11, and/or Monday, November 13

The City of Saskatoon will have several adjusted civic services and holiday hours on Remembrance Day, Saturday, November 11, and/or on Monday, November 13, the City's Stat observance.
Check details on what's open or closed, parking requirements, waste collection schedules, Transit schedules, operating hours for Leisure Centres, Saskatoon Public Library locations, Remai Modern, Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo and more here.
To note: Courtesy of RBC Royal Bank, Saskatoon Transit will provide complimentary bus transportation for all Veterans to and from the Remembrance Day Ceremony at SaskTel Centre on Saturday, November 11.

Adjusted City services & hours of operation on Remembrance Day, November 11 and/or Monday, November 13

- Fixed route transit will run holiday service on Saturday, November 11 – 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (normal fares apply).
- Please consult the mobile app transit to plan your trip.
- Visit: SaskatoonTransit.ca
- OnDemand service will not be available on Saturday, November 11.
- Access Transit will operate holiday service on Monday, November 13 – 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Trips must be booked in advance as per normal procedures (8:15 a.m. to 10:45 p.m.).
- Customers are reminded that subscriptions do not apply on Statutory Holidays.
- Transit Customer Service Centre will be closed for walk-in customers on Saturday, November 11, but phone lines (306-975-3100) will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Garbage (Black Cart) – Collections as scheduled
- Recycling (Blue Cart) – Collections as scheduled
- Organics (Green Cart) – Collections as scheduled

- The Material Recovery Centre and Landfill are open on Saturday, November 11 and Monday, November 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Cash transactions are accepted, although Credit and Debit are recommended.

- The cemetery office is closed on Monday, November 13.
- Cemetery grounds are open to the public 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily as per usual.

- Cosmo Civic Centre – Saturday, November 11 – CLOSED, Monday, November 13 – Regular hours of operation.

CITY HALL
All Administrative Offices are closed on Monday, November 13, and will reopen Tuesday, November 14, at 8 a.m.

REMAI MODERN
Remai Modern will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 11. The museum is closed on Monday, November 13.
SASKATOON PUBLIC LIBRARY
All library locations will be closed on Saturday, November 11. All Saskatoon Public Library locations will be open on Monday, November 13.
SASKATOON TRANSIT
Courtesy of RBC Royal Bank, Saskatoon Transit will provide complimentary bus transportation for all Veterans to and from the Remembrance Day Ceremony at SaskTel Centre on Saturday, November 11. Check details and all times here
PAY PARKING
Parking payment is not required on Saturday, November 11, and Monday, November 13.
Motorists are reminded that all parking requirements remain in effect, including parking time limits.
MUNICIPAL IMPOUND LOT

Free transit service offered on Remembrance Day
November 7, 2023 - 10:00am
- Downtown Special Events Stop - 23rd Street and 2nd Avenue
- Every 20 minutes starting at 9:00 a.m., with the last bus leaving at 10:20 a.m.
- Market Mall
- 9:45 a.m. from the mall transit terminal
- Centre Mall
- 9:45 a.m. from the mall transit terminal.
- Wearing a military uniform, or
- Presenting military ID or a CF1 card when they board.
Courtesy of RBC Royal Bank, Saskatoon Transit will provide complimentary bus transportation for all to and from the Remembrance Day Ceremony at SaskTel Centre on Saturday, November 11.
Buses will depart as follows:
Return trips will begin immediately following the close of the ceremony.
Veterans and current Canadian Armed Forces members will be recognized with free transit service throughout the system all day on November 11. This free bus service is offered to armed forces veterans and current serving personnel–including cadets and reservists, and one companion.

Providing free transit to veterans and current members of the Canadian Armed Forces is a way to recognize the tremendous commitment they have made, and continue to make, to the community and country.
Saskatoon Transit buses will display a “Lest We Forget” message on November 11.

Dundonald Avenue closed from Mountbatten to Caen streets on Wednesday

Dundonald Avenue will be closed from Mountbatten to Caen streets for construction starting on Wednesday, November 8, at 7:00 a.m. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take three days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
