Information about the Voters List
Elections Saskatoon will use a registered Voters List for the 2024 Civic Election. The Voters List is a list of eligible, registered voters in the city. It is used to ensure only eligible, registered voters vote - and vote only once.
The pre-registration period closed on October 22, 2024, in abiding with legislation and to give enough time for all registrations to be finalized ahead of voting day.
Important To Know
If you did not get a chance to register for the Voters List before October 22, 2024, not to worry. You may be asked to fill out a Voter Registration Form at the voting location you attend.
Here is what will happen at the voting location you attend with respect to the Voters List:
- When you go to your polling place with acceptable ID and present it to the Poll Official, they will check if your name is on the Voters List.
- If your name is on the Voters List: The Poll Official will confirm your voting eligibility and school support and then issue your ballot.
- If your name is not on the Voters List: The Poll Official will ask you to fill out a Voter Registration Form, and then you will be issued your ballot.
- This will be the process at all polling places; Advance Polls, Drive-Thru Voting and on Election Day.
