Zach Nelson
Public School Board Trustee Candidate Ward 1
Zach Nelson is running for Ward 1 Public School Trustee because he believes Saskatchewan has a moral obligation to provide the best public education possible. He is committed to advocating for increased funding, smaller class sizes, and better access to support staff, ensuring all children are set up for success from early years to graduation.
Zach is dedicated to bringing local voices to the school board, challenging recent decisions that have reduced per-student funding, and advocating for greater accountability to the community.
Endorsed by the Saskatoon and District Labour Council, Zach has a proven track record of defending workers’ rights as a Shop Steward and standing up for the improvement and expansion of public services. He also opposes Bill 137 and is committed to addressing the chronic underfunding of public education.
