I bring a critical lens to Saskatoon's challenges. My background includes international research collaborations and navigating federal, provincial, and private sector funding, resulting in new seed varieties, process technologies, and innovative products. I played a key role in building the bioprocessing plant at Innovation Place, collaborating with scientists, engineers, and government to bring cutting-edge technology to the city. I also launched the Prairie Gran Fondo, one of Canada’s top events, raising funds for youth cycling programs and providing bikes for disadvantaged children. These experiences honed my ability to unite local stakeholders—community groups, government, and businesses—to find common ground and create practical solutions for Saskatoon's key issues: improving infrastructure, enhancing public safety, addressing homelessness, and managing sustainable growth.
