Lia Storey-Gamble
Public School Board Trustee Candidate Ward 6
Since the age of 12, Lia Storey-Gamble has been committed to serving her community, from volunteering and hosting fundraisers to working on policy recommendations with municipal, provincial, and federal leaders. While earning her degree in Regional and Urban Planning at the University of Saskatchewan, she worked as a nanny specializing in children with disabilities and later served as VP of Operations and Finance for the University of Saskatchewan Student Union, where she managed a multi-million dollar budget. After graduating with high honors, Lia worked as a lobbyist, policy writer, and in the non-profit sector, but her passion for helping children led her to become an educational assistant. There, she saw firsthand the need for better classroom support due to underfunding. Lia combines her experience in education and politics to create meaningful solutions for students and the community. Energetic and driven, she’s ready to make a difference as your school board trustee.
