Jasmin Parker
Councillor Candidate Ward 6
Jasmin lives with her wife and their parrot in Nutana. She holds a Geography degree in Environment and Society from the University of Saskatchewan and works in project management, focusing on environmental planning and permitting. With experience across oil and gas, renewable energy, and conservation projects, Jasmin has built her career on collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement. In her early twenties, she worked at the Redvers Activity Centre, supporting adults with disabilities, which shaped her understanding of exclusion and societal barriers.
A proud 2SLGBTQIA member, community leader, and sustainability advocate, Jasmin and her wife became involved in the Nutana Community Association after moving to Saskatoon, where she has served as the president for the past four years. Their love for the neighbourhood inspired Jasmin to run for city council, with the hope that every Ward 6 resident can feel the same sense of opportunity and optimism for the city's future.
