Henry Tsz Lok Chan
Councillor Candidate Ward 8
Every year taxes go up, crime goes up, and service quality goes down. The current city council is out of touch with the needs of the people of Saskatoon.
I grew up in Saskatoon and proudly call it my home. However, we have watched the city council take on debt, overspend on irrelevant projects, and neglect essential services while allowing crime and disorder to run rampant.
We need to bring common sense back to city hall by prioritizing essential services, enforcing the law with zero tolerance for crime, and cutting wasteful spending so that taxes aren't rising every year.
My background in finance, as a legislative assistant on Parliament Hill for a Member of Parliament, and NGO experience provide a rounded experience that our city council deeply needs.
My vision for Saskatoon is a safe and affordable city where families can grow and businesses can thrive, knowing that they can rely on their government to take care of all the essentials.
