Street Sweeping
Fall with style! As the leaves change, City crews will be out sweeping neighbourhood streets to clear leaves from along the curb and help reduce drainage problems during the spring melt.
Starting in mid-October, watch for yellow No Parking signs on scheduled streets, particularly in neighbourhoods with high tree density. Vehicles must be moved by 7 a.m. on the scheduled sweeping day so crews can access the curb lane.
2026 Fall Sweep schedule
The 2026 fall sweep begins October 13! Crews will be on their way to the following neighbourhoods:
- Buena Vista - Streets October 15, Avenues October 20
- Caswell Hill - Streets October 21, Avenues October 26
- City Park - Streets October 22, Odd Avenues October 19, Even Avenues October 26
- Exhibition - Streets October 22, Avenues October 21
- Holiday Park - Streets October 13, Avenues October 21
- King George - Streets October 22, Avenues October 19
- Mayfair - Streets October 19, Avenues October 14
- Nutana - Streets East Streets October 20, West Streets October 22, Avenues October 13
- Riversdale – Riversdale All October 15
- Varsity View - Streets October 26, Avenues October 14
- 21st Street West (Vancouver Avenue to Montreal Avenue) October 19
What you can expect from us
- Street sweeping along the curb to collect as many fallen leaves as possible to reduce drainage issues in the spring.
- Scheduled streets posted with yellow No Parking signs between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. The penalty for "Parking or stopping in a designated street maintenance area during a street maintenance parking ban" is $110, per Traffic Bylaw 7200 (12.5 Street Maintenance Areas)
- Street Sweeping Service Alerts will be issued if there is a change to the sweeping schedule.

How you can help us
- Plan alternative parking for your vehicles on sweep day. If there is "no date set" for your address, your street is not going to get fall street sweeping. Refer to the carousel of neighbourhood maps located above on this page that highlight streets scheduled for sweeping.
- Watch for yellow No parking signs and remove your vehicle by 7 a.m. on the posted sweeping day to avoid a ticket and/or relocation to a nearby street. Check Find My Vehicle! if your vehicle has moved.
- Pick up leaves on the sidewalk and boulevard beside your property. Please do not push leaves toward the street because big piles of leaves cause problems for the sweepers. Learn more about how you can manage your fallen leaves at saskatoon.ca/leaves.
