Rescheduled: Faithfull Avenue closed between 43rd and 44th streets on Sunday
September 9, 2022 - 7:00am
Faithfull Avenue will be closed between 43rd and 44th streets on Sunday, September 11, at 8:00 a.m. for valve replacement work. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take one day to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.

Faithfull Avenue will be closed between 45th and 47th streets starting Saturday, September 10, at 8:00 a.m. for valve replacement work. The intersection at Faithfull Avenue and 46th Street will be closed during this project. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take two days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

There’s a seat at the table for you this fall!
We’re recruiting citizen volunteers for several vacant positions on our Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs). Make a difference in your community and help shape programs and services that matter to you.
The City’s BCCs strengthen our community and are stronger through diverse membership. Working together, we make Saskatoon a better city. We rely on citizen volunteers to bring their diverse backgrounds and expertise and welcome, support and value individuals for their unique perspectives.
As a commitment to our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Action Plan, the City supports diverse membership on the various boards, committees and commissions as they should reflect the community we serve.
There are a wide variety of open positions. Are you, or do you know of someone who is passionate about or has expertise in one of these areas?
As a BCCs member you’ll provide advice, guidance and recommendations to City Council or you could hear and make decisions on appeals pertaining to City matters. Join us to contribute, gain valuable experience and expand your network of contacts!

Public and Parent & Tot Skating available at Lions Arena

Public Skating is now available at Lions Arena (2205 McEown Avenue) on Sundays from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Parent & Tot skating runs at Lions Arena on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
ACT, Cosmo and Archibald Arenas will open for Public and Parent & Tot Skating starting the week of October 2. Visit saskatoon.ca/leisureonline for drop-in schedules.
2021-2022 admission rates are in effect until September 30, 2022 and are as follows:
LeisureCards, which provide unlimited access to the six Leisure Centres, Terry Fox Track and four outdoor pools are also accepted as a payment option at the indoor rinks. Cash and Leisure gift cards are also accepted at the rinks.
Children, 6 years of age and younger, must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years of age or older. A maximum of two preschoolers per adult is allowed.
