Broadway Avenue closed between Hilliard and Willow streets on Monday
June 17, 2022 - 9:00am
Broadway Avenue will be closed between Hilliard and Willow streets on Monday, June 20, at 9:00 a.m. for roadway patching work. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone. This project is expected to take six hours to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.

Road restrictions on Spadina Crescent on Saturday
June 17, 2022 - 7:00am
- Spadina Crescent northbound lanes will be closed between 33rd and Windsor streets
- Spadina Crescent road will be closed between Windsor Street and Prince of Wales Avenue
- Spadina Crescent northbound lanes will be closed between Prince of Wales Avenue and Pinehouse Drive
- Whiteswan Drive northbound lanes will be closed between Pinehouse and Lenore drives
To accommodate the Run for Women on Saturday, June 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., road closures and lane restrictions will be in place along race routes.

- Spadina Crescent closed between 24th and 25th streets, as well as under the University Bridge
- 24th Street closed between Spadina Crescent and 4th Avenue
- 4th Avenue closed between 22nd and 24th streets
- 22nd Street closed between 1st and 4th avenues
- 1st Avenue closed between 20th and 22nd streets
- 20th Street closed from 1st and 3rd avenues
- 3rd Avenue closed between 19th and 20th streets
- Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge off-ramp to 1st Avenue closed
- The Traffic Bridge closed between 11th and 19th streets
- Spadina Crescent closed between 2nd Avenue and 20th Street
Spadina Crescent will be closed between 2nd and 3rd avenues from 9:00 a.m., Friday, June 17 until 9:00 p.m. Monday, June 20 for the annual Pride Parade and Pride Festival.
The Pride Parade route will move from Kiwanis Park, with closures in place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18:
Lane restrictions, police control, and “no parking” signs, will be in place along the parade route.
Following the Pride Parade, the Saskatoon Pride Festival will take place on Spadina Crescent, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18. To accommodate this event, other road closures will include:

Flip flip hurraaaay - the City’s Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is today!

Batter up and plan to attend the City of Saskatoon's Annual Civic Pancake Breakfast this morning!
Civic Pancake Breakfast Event Details:
When: Thursday, June 16, 2022
Time: Breakfast served 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Location: Held outside in Civic Square at 23rd Street, beside City Hall
Cost: $7 breakfast includes choice of whip, syrup or berry toppings, sausages, coffee & juice
Payment method: Cash or Debit card
As always, all proceeds from this important community fundraiser will be donated to United Way Saskatoon & Area for all the great work they do in our community. Mayor Charlie Clark, City Councillors and other celebrity pancake flippers from our community will be in attendance! Bring your friends and come downtown this morning!
We have an exciting lineup today including Saskatoon Police Service vehicle displays, an entertainment stage with various ethnic dancers including a tribute to Ukraine, Métis fiddlers, musicians, furry mascots, the always anticipated and fun-to-watch team relay race (8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.), public engagement booth, and more!
New this year: You can help pay it forward through the Act of Kindness Board!
Since we've not had this important fundraiser in a couple of years, we're hoping we can all help pay it forward with an extra push for kindness through our collective donations. The Saskatoon City Employees Credit Union and the City of Saskatoon have partnered to bring an Act of Kindness Board to this year's Civic Pancake Breakfast. You’ll have the option to purchase an extra $7 ticket to donate to someone in need of a hot breakfast today!
The City of Saskatoon is proud to host this annual zero-waste event with compostable, recyclable, and reusable supplies.
