Boychuk Drive and Highway 16 Interchange
Construction at the site of a new interchange at Boychuk Drive and Highway 16 started in April 2017. The interchange was made possible by the governments of Canada and Saskatchewan who each contributed $10,960,885 through the Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component – National and Regional Projects. The Boychuk Drive and Highway 16 interchange opened in July 2019.

Funding Partners
On Thursday, May 26, 2016, the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Federal Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, and the Honourable Jim Reiter, Minister of Government Relations for Saskatchewan, were joined by Mayor Don Atchison to announce funding for the new interchange. The Governments of Canada and Saskatchewan each contributed $10,960,885 to the Boychuk Drive and Highway 16 interchange through the Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component – National and Regional Projects.
